Role Overview
As a Customer Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in coordinating operational activities that involve field technical teams and customers.
You will manage service requests related to device installations, replacements, inspections, and maintenance, ensuring that tasks are scheduled efficiently and completed on time.
The role requires strong organizational ability, clear communication, and the capability to coordinate between customers, technical teams, stores, and internal support teams to successfully deliver field services.
Key Responsibilities
Field Service Coordination
Coordinate operational activities including:
- New telematics device installations
- Device replacements and upgrades
- Vehicle inspections and maintenance visits
- Scheduling field technicians for service tasks
Ensure technicians are dispatched with the correct information, equipment, and schedules.
Operational Coordination
Work closely with multiple internal teams including:
- Technical support teams
- Stores and inventory management
- Sales team
- Field technical teams
Ensure required devices, accessories, and technical information are available before field visits.
Ticket & Task Management
Manage field service tasks through the support ticket system.
Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing assigned tickets
- Scheduling field activities
- Monitoring job progress
- Ensuring timely completion of service requests
- Maintaining accurate records of field activities
Customer Communication
Communicate with customers to:
- Arrange installation appointments
- Confirm service schedules
- Provide updates on job progress
- Ensure smooth completion of service requests
Candidate Profile
Required
- Strong communication skills in English/Sinhala/Tamil
- Good organizational and coordination abilities
- Ability to manage multiple operational tasks simultaneously
- Comfortable working with software systems and support ticket platforms
- Strong problem-solving mindset
Preferred
- Experience in operations coordination, logistics, telecom services, or technical service environments
- Exposure to GPS tracking, telematics systems, or IoT devices
- Familiarity with customer support or service management platforms
