Role Overview
As a Senior QA Engineer – SaaS Platforms, you will be responsible for designing and executing quality assurance processes across KLOUDIP’s products, including telematics, logistics, and IoT platforms.
You will work closely with product, development, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality releases in a fast-paced, agile environment.
This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of testing modern cloud-based applications.
Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Execution
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
- Validate end-to-end workflows across platforms
Automation Testing
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts
- Improve test coverage and reduce manual testing effort
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
Platform & API Testing
- Test REST APIs, integrations, and backend services
- Validate data accuracy and system performance
- Identify edge cases and system vulnerabilities
Defect Management
- Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools
- Work closely with developers to resolve issues efficiently
- Ensure fixes are validated before release
Performance & Reliability
- Conduct performance and load testing where required
- Ensure system stability under real-world usage conditions
Collaboration
- Work with product managers and developers to clarify requirements
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and release cycles
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes
Candidate Profile
Required
- 3–6+ years of experience in software quality assurance
- Strong understanding of SaaS applications and web-based systems
- Experience with manual and automated testing
- Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman or similar)
- Experience with test case design and defect tracking tools
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred
- Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps environments
- Knowledge of databases (SQL) and backend validation
- Experience in telematics, IoT, or logistics platforms
